WORK SAFETY ASPECTS USING A PARTICIPATORY ERGONOMIC APPROACH

The problem that we often encounter in the workplace is work accidents. It fatal and frequently ignored by workers company owners, especially small medium enterprises. This study focuses on reducing risk of accidents through a participatory ergonomic approach. method which all elements involved scope are invited to together solve existing problems. result shows MSDs dangerous musculoskeletal system as posture resulted significant effect tension. physical environment not under standards. Lack lighting can be workers, while too hot temperatures affect worker comfort. results ergonomics show 85% want change environment. number batik centers after using approach decreased could increase productivity 11%.
